Dave, It's just like changing small spark plugs.. May I suggest ... Don't buy new Glow plugs .. Until you look at the old ones. I did and found that unless the plug is burned out, it will heat as well as a new one. It's a pretty simple device.
... IF you think you need a bit more ''heat"... DO check the WIRE to the plug.. The connection is a simple Thumb screw. They CAN get corroded.. And Any corrosion means a resistance there and at these currents,,, A possible BIG voltage drop.. Less voltage at the glow plug,, means they don't get as hot as they should.. Advice ? Clean all the contact points on the Glow plug Wires...
