Tony,
I just bought a Moor (Electronics) Sail Boat Instruments! depth finder
through Hamilton Marine (New Hampshire, I believe) with a 4" round display unit
and a 2" transducer. I had to replace the through hull because it would not
allow the transducer, well, through the hull.
I haven't wired the new unit in yet...my son's graduation, family
birthdays, & work get in the way of boat stuff...so I cannot tell you how well
it
works. However, it was very reasonable and I assume it works.
