I'm going to really go off the ranch here and suggest that the tool
recommendation is a function of where you are sailing. On my relatively
small inland lake, I wouldn't consider carrying all that stuff that has been
recommended in the different posts. I keep a small tool box with basic
pliers and multi-tip screw drivers. The biggest thing for me is spare
slides and connector thingies that hold the mainsail to the mast. I have
had those blow out before so I never leave home without them. Most of the
other stuff I take to the boat to do specific projects. Now if I were
sailing all day on the great lakes or a place like the Chesapeake that would
be a different matter. Then I probably wouldn't have room in the boat for
any people!

from sockets, wrenches, screwdrives etc. Anything that I should keep on
board ?

Just learned about this one today. I hav e a similar, and it was really
useful in diagnosing and correcting encapsulated wet ply..
