Tee Eff, As far as I know, PHRF SoCal doesn't penalize use of both types of kites. There used to be a penalty for using an ASO, but that was removed a couple of years ago (or three or....). Being retired and therefore essentially penniless, I'm sticking to my Code Zero and symmetrical kite.
