Dear Prayerful Family & Friends, Please pray for the following individuals:
Elizabeth "Betty" McKenna, our good friend, passed away several days ago in Georgia at her daughter's home. Her Memorial Service will be held here in Emmitsburg; however, the arrangements are incomplete at this time. Mary Bunch, Mike's sister-in-law, passed away yesterday morning in West VA. after a long struggle with pneumonia and a heart condition. Please pray for the eternal rest of the immortal souls of both Betty and Mary. Ed Bollinger, Corby's nephew, is suffering with Colon Cancer. Aileen Foley, Corby's good friend and long time parishioner of St. Joseph's in Emmitsburg, MD, has suffered a stroke and is having significant problems associated with it. Jim Tauer, also a victim of a stroke after a triple By-Pass operation, has kidney problems as well. It seems the dye from his angiogram is causing his kidneys to fail. Victoria, a single parent, is suffering from severe depression. Her husband is trying to turn their five year old daughter against her. Fremoit, Magdalena's father, my friend in Lisbon, Portugal, is suffering from significant leg pain that has caused him to be hospitalized. He is unable to walk. Please pray for his wife, Mary Imaculada also. Martin Keefe, devoted husband and father, has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. His operation is scheduled for December 2nd. Please pray for his wife, Kathleen, as well. Virginia, the 16 year old niece of a friend of mine, has been diagnosed with juvenile arthritis. Dr. Raphael Colazzo, brother of Sr. Raphael Colazzo, DC, has been diagnosed with a mass at the base of his brain. He will have emergency surgery. Please also pray for his wife who has serious medical problems. Richard Smith, whom I met at the National Grotto of Lourdes today, is suffering from cancer. Cathy Rueberger, devoted wife of Pete and mother of two daughters ten and thirteen years old, has been diagnosed with Leukemia in September and is still in the hospital. She is not responding to chemo; therefore, the medical staff have scheduled a stem cell transplant for December 23rd. Mike Frye, a co-worker of Brian Fleming, has been hospitalized with severe diabetes, He now has kidney problems. James (Moe) Ellison, one of Brian's clients, broke his leg and will have a long recovery due to his other medical problems. Please pray for the healing of all the above mentioned individuals. May our good, generous, merciful and loving God shower many graces upon them through the intercession of our Immaculate Mother Mary! Please pray for a peaceful resolution to the terrorism in Mumbai, India. Many thanks again for your constancy in prayer and for your concern for others.
