This morning my neighborhood Broad-winged Hawks are out soaring above the 
forested ravines and calling. I imagine this is encouragement for the fledged 
youngsters to come up and see the lay of the land. I didn't locate this year's 
nest. Had a few sights of adults hunting from perches well down Maple Ave, so 
they may actually have nested in the Town of Danby (my property ends at the 
town line).
