Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)

     12/4: A late KILLDEER was seen at the Visitor’s Center. 4 SANDHILL CRANES 
were seen from Armitage Road.







Cayuga county

------------




     11/29: A PURPLE SANDPIPER was seen at the cause way at Fair Haven state 
Park.

     12/2: A RED-THROATED LOON was seen on Lake Ontario from Fair haven State 
Park.







Oswego County

------------




     12/1: A BLACK-LEGGED KITTYWAKE and a SURF SCOTER were seen from the bluff 
at Derby Hill over Lake Ontario.

     12/2: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen in Willianstown.

     12/4: 2 BLACK-LEGGED KITTYWAKES, 2 SURF SCOTERS, a LESSER BLACK-BACKED 
GULL and a RED-THROATED LOON were all spotted from the bluff at Derby Hill.







Onondaga County

------------




     11/28: 5 BLACK VULTURES were spotted in spruce trees on McClennen Drive in 
Fayetteville and one or more were present up to 12/2.

     12/2: A very late LINCOLN’S SPARROW and a late WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW were 
seen at the Honeywell Center on the west shore of Onondaga lake. A FOX SPARROW 
was seen at a feeder on Lawrence Road west of Marcellus.

     12/4: 19 RED CROSSBILLS were seen at the corner of Shakham Road and 
Herlihy Road in the Morgan Hill State Forest. 6 EVENING GROSBEAKS were at a 
feeder on Watervale Road in Manlius.

     12/5 A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was spotted at Oneida Shores park in 
Brewerton.







Madison County

------------




     12/29:  1 EVENING GROSBEAK was at a feeder on Hawes Road on Tuscarora 
lake. A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen at the Madison County Landfill south 
of Canastota.

     12/2: 7 EVENING GROSBEAKS were aat a feeder on Carpenter Road east of 
Sheds. 2GOLDEN EAGLES were seen soaring over the Madison County Landfill. 
another was see nearby from Tuttle Road. A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was at 
the south end of Cazenovia Lake.An ICELAND GULL was seen from Lewis Point at 
the east end of Oneida Lake.

     12/3: 24 EVENING GROSBEAKS were at the Hawes Road feeder on Tuscarora 
Lake. 

     12/5: A ROSS’S GOOSE was found at Woodman Pond north of Hamilton.







Oneida County

------------




     11/30: 4 BLACK VULTURES were seen at an abandoned barn on Rt. 46 south of 
Rome where they have been seen in the past months.







Herkimer County

------------




     11/27: A PINE SISKIN was seen at a feeder in dolgeville.

     11/28: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen on Moore Road west of Dolgeville.

     1/1: 2 BLACK VULTURES were seen in Little Falls.
