Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)

     1/1: A RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET and a WINTER WREN were found at Mays Point.

     1/2: A SHORT-EARED OWL was seen from the Morgan Road Marshes.







Cayuga County

------------




     12/27: A KILLDEER was seen at West Barrier Bar Park in Fair Haven.







Oswego County

------------




     12/26: A RED-THROATED LOON was seen in Oswego Harbor. A GLAUCOUS GULL was 
seen at Indian Point north of Fulton.

     1/1: 3 RUDDY DUCKS , an ICELAND GULL and a CACKLING GOOSE were all seen on 
Neahtawanta Lake in Fulton.







Onondaga County

------------




     12/27: A SHORT-EARED OWL was seen on Burnet Road north of Rt. 31 in Clay.

     1/2: 3 BLACK VULTURES were again seen on McClennan Drive in Fayetteville. 
An AMERICAN WIGEON was seen on North Seneca Turnpike west of Marcellus. A 
SAW-WHET OWL was found on Gully Road west of Marcellus. A MERLIN was seen on 
Willumae Drive in Syracuse.







Madison County

------------




     EVENING GROSBEAKS continue in numbers in many areas south of Cazenovia.

     12/28: A HERMIT THRUSH was seen on Harsh Road east of Chittenango.

     12/29: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was again seen on Eden Hollow road east of 
Erieville.

     1/1: 2 SHORT-EARED OWLS were seen on Burleson Road south of Oneida.

     1/2: A GLAUCOUS GULL, aan ICELAND GULL and a MERLIN were all found on 
Ditchbank Road north of Canastota.







Oneida County

------------




     1/1: 2 PEREGRINE FALCONS were seen on the State Office Building in Utica. 
4 BLACK VULTURES were seen near Rt. 365 in Rome. They were seen again on 1/2.







Herkimer County

------------




     EVENING GROSBEAKS continue almost daily at a feeding station is Salisbury 
north of Dolgeville.

     12/30: EVENING GROSBEAKS and a PINE GROSBEAK were heard in the Black River 
Wild Forest near Forestport.

     12/31: A PEREGRINE FALCON was seen on Rt. 5-S east of Little Falls.
