Two recommendations from me (that I"m trying to keep fresh in my head for my attempt in 3 DAYS)
#1 Use a checklist, but one with multiple columns (I think I got this from Jared Scrivener). - One checkmark for "I did this" - one for "I verified this". For me, this is the 30 minutes before lunch - one for "I verified this again". This is the end of day full re-verify - Optional: a column for "this is an easy/cherry-pick". Pick the quick hits before you start - Optional: a column for "this is a core task". More applicable to R&S but you may want to mark things that affect connectivity such as Inline IPS or access list tasks. #2 Keep a separate running total of points you've earned. - Optional: a running total of "I'm 100% sure I completed these successfully" and "I'm _fairly_ sure this one is right". - You ideally want to have the 100% sure total be > 80% at the end of the day.
