So are you proposing that inclusion of tables of residue-averaged B
factor as well as RSCC in the manuscript sent to referees should be
mandatory?  If so, that would go some way to addressing concerns about
the usefulness of the RSCC plot as a validation tool (particularly for
small ligands and solvent molecules).

Would it make sense to ask the PDB people to auto-generate these tables (and other validation criteria) and make them available for all structures, even those that are on hold.

[ This is of course only possible if one is able to reconstruct the maps (TLS, and bulk solvent model issues?) and might serve as an incentive for people to submit their experimental data. ]
