What is your question? Do you mean you are new to DLS or new to crystallography? Is it wise to spend your start-up funds in buying something (you know little about) for which you have to depend on the blog for major decisions rather than investing in something you know well and you can use immediately to generate data? Gain more experience on a machine before you own it. There may be facilities around where you can run DLS (unless results from DLS are the focus of your research)
Start-up funds are precious. I am planning to get a DLS to set up my crystallography lab. I got a tight budget. Around USD 80000 perhaps. I'm quite new to this field. Thanks in advance for your suggestions Regards Shukuri
