You should really visit ftp.suse.com ore one of their mirrors (e.g. 
ftp.gwdg.de).  They provide almost the complete content of their CD's 
on the ftp servers.  Exceptions are only a few(!) packages.  This they 
cannot put on the internet because of some license issues.  The more 
restricted license policy for this few packages does not come from SuSe 
but from the authors/owners (or however you can call them) of the 
packages.

I've been using SuSE for quite a few years but I couldn't tell which 
packages they do not put on the internet.
