You most likely refer to the second question, "Kernel patch? This sounds
too complicated already!" Note that questions/answers section in general
addresses less experienced users, those who just have thrown some Linux
dist on their PC and trying to figure their way around. So to say... The
main goal of that particular paragraph is to calm such users down, tell
them that the kernel patch is otional, yet! keep them motivated to
download and deploy dvd+rw-tools. I admit that I *implied* that not even
cdrecord-ProDVD supports DVD+ [which was perfectly true for the moment
the paragraph in question was revised last time]. Yes, it was *implied*,
but not actually *stated*/*spelled*, by providing a link to
cdrecord-ProDVD download catalog. But I can't admit that the core
statement, cdrecord [as bundled with all Linux distributions and
available in source form] lacking support for DVD+ (as well as DVD- for
that matter), no longer holds true. Therefore to minimize the confusion,
I have removed the link to cdrecord-ProDVD download catalog. If my
assumption was wrong and you're referring to some other paragraph on my
page, then be more specific. A.
