on that day i was there but Trojans did not turn up for the game in time. i left the court 2:25pm which translates to 55minutes with only one trojan player (Sam Nsanja). I had left words to mimbulu that they have won the game but if they want they could play. The right ref was there at the scheduled time of the game (Mabvuto), but there was no sign of the other team coming up then he left.
The game stand to be a league game. To avoid this let us all be part of the game, for the love of the game. dont come for your game only, be there to help other games. it will make life easy for all of us. ----- Original Message ---- From: Daud Suleman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, September 30, 2008 2:04:05 AM Subject: {CEZOBAL} Re: Results of Games on 27/28 Sept Pempho, Your sentiments are very true, but who would have ref'd the game? If you recall my earlier email, i was talking about the same thing that people do not like to come and help out other games..I am sure Geoff came to watch the game and not to ref and HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON available when time came to start the game. Given this, 1)The game still stands as a league 2)Officiation is not used to decide whether a game is a friendly or a league one.its the fixture that decides that and it has to be honoured. When the fixture is done, no ref is assigned to a game just Ref Commisioners who are Bvuto Chintengo, Lonje Maliro and Daud. Am sure you have seen only Daud and Bvuto reffing games. with Daud playing and Bvuto gone after his game earlier in the day, who then could possibly ref that game? .. Let me challenge you Pempho to help us finding ways of getting better refs available for the games, i would like to hear from you what your views are on that. League ndiya tonse...
