um, he did....

We were all innocent little kids once... It's as easy to create a Ghandi as
it is a Hitler, all you have to do is get the right imprint factors at the
right periods in their lives. Hitler is a well documented character and
there are definite incidents in his life which shaped his views. Had those
not happened, it's arguable whether he wouldn't have just continued to be a
bad painter in Vienna. McVee must have had simillar (but different) moments
of vulnerablity... As did you Philip :-)
> Why couldn't he just say "Yup, I'm a psycho killer" and admit what he is!
Because that's not who he was in his reality tunnel, maybe in yours and mine
he was a psycho, but in his he was a liberation fighter or something... It's
simillar to the arguments the IRA and every other politically motivated
Domesticated Primate uses... We all have the potential to be psycho killers
if motivated in the right way.... Just look at the case of Patty Hearst for
a really good example of how someone normal can turn (or be turned) into
what we've collectively agreed to be a "complete psycho"
