I have been reading the messages with increasing incredulity as well, I had
no idea that America was quite that bad - I have read people talking about
doing things that would get them a substantial jail sentence in the UK, and
justifying it as personal protection. I am also very surprised that using
the police and the law to deal with situations is deemed to be the actions
of wimps - how are the physically weak supposed to protect themselves? Are
they supposed to get out their guns as well?
This will probably reach the list a week after the thread is finished, but I
had to comment.
