Well, there are US gov employees on the lists and I believe they are
required to report these things. Could have been Echelon but based on 
the
speed of the call and some recent articles I've been reading on the 
NSA and
data processing, I don't think they would have heard so fast. 
Remember that
the amount of data going around then net is insane and even such a 
clear cut
subject has to be processed.
