verity filters for multimedia file types (mp3, mov, wav, jpg, gif)
more custom fields in verity
shoutcaster server capabilities controllable through cold fusion tags. For example, we would love to set up a stream of local content for lawyers.
(We have the content, but creating the infrastructure to make it available is time consuming. It should handle mp3, wav, wax, etc.)
cf_calendar - take a query and chart it.
cf_swf - create a swf through cf code (built in). Simple examples like tickers and scrolling windows.
cf_postscript - (Basically, take a look at the perl libraries and steal some of their core functionalities.)
cf_gallery - auto build a gallery by looking at a folder
cf_documentLibrary - auto build a document library by looking at a folder.
Take some of the good parts of spectra (like the publishing model), and make them easily available tags in cf.
cf_directory - add regex pattern matching to file spec. allow multiple file specs.
I know CF is wonderfully expandable, and all the above can be added by writing my own or purchasing it and installing it, but there is a reluctance to graft on 3rd party parts. And if I can't count on the tags on various hosting services, I can't use those tags.
