But it is also not up to me and in my opinion it should not be up to me. Who am I to say whether that woman should have to carry any given pregnancy to term? I can think of reasons for abortion that I would consider frivolous. Gender selection comes to mind. Except I know a family that has had three sons who all had a rare congenital disorder that occurs more often in males. They did gender selection when a fourth pregnancy was male. And can you really blame them? I personally don't know if I would have the strength to attempt a second pregnancy under the circumstances, let alone a fourth.
