A good friend of mine after years of trying finally became pregnant.
Unfortunately it turned out that the fetus had a set of genetic disorders
that would have resulted in it dying in infancy. My friend decided to
terminate the pregnancy rather than carry the fetus to term. In the
anti-abortion movement, they would have her suffer through the pregnancy
and let the infant suffer through a very painful and very brief life. Where
is the "Christian Charity" in that?
