We are answering the question. If the majority of society (meaning
politically active adults) changes the age of consent, then I'm fine with
that.
The age of consent is very much a societal construct. In other countries,
people are considered capable of sexual consent at much younger ages. And,
reality is, most teens are probably sexually active in some form or another.
Even when I was a teen, I was in the minority (among girls I knew) as a
virgin.
