I am not comparing the two and let's bring the age back up to 16 (PLEASE)
My point is, groups of people can challenge laws and change them based on
their desire to live a certain way.
As time progresses, I see people from all ages, walks of life, beliefs, etc.
challenging the law and changing them for various reasons.
We will have a completely open, anything goes society.
My reference to teens we not to say a 12 year old can do whatever he
wants...
I was referring to a 16 girl who say, "No one should be able to tell me that
I can't have sex"
The law will say, "You are not legal" and then teeneagers around the country
will rally to change the law regarding what age is legal or not.
Ditto for a man wanting to marry his daughter, or sleep with a cat, etc.
etc.
That is all I am saying.

p.s. you recognize comparing gay people wishing to get married to a 12 year
old "wanting to do as they please" could be considered offensive?

you guys are not answering my question.
What would you say 10 years from now if 12, 14, 16, (teens) year old kids
say,
"I want the right to vote"
I want to do as I please
I want to work, have an apartment, I do not want to go to school, etc.
etc.

12 year olds also aren't allowed to vote.
