Actually did do something when our embassies were attacked. We bombed a
location in Afghanistan where Osama bin Laden was supposedly hiding, killed
a lot of people , and pissed off a bunch of Afghanis who had we had armed
to fight the Soviets, and claim they had nothing to do with bin Laden.
I have no problem with punishing the guilty, but this "bomb them all let
God sort them out" mentality is only going to create more enemies.
