I personally haven't needed much at all lately, but I find that I have
an issue with a lot of chairs being too low, which results in the
weight of my arms being on the tendons, albeit about halfway up the
arm. Am thinking of starting to carry wrist pads about with me. Used
to wear braces before surgery and I guess I could start again but
long-term it was just a bit too much like being the amazing bionic
woman with wrists of steel...

I've been fending off carpal tunnel surgery for several years.  It used to
hurt so bad I would cry when I typed.  This is my current regimen, which is
working well.

Vitamin B reduces the swelling in the carpal tunnel, Glucosmine aids in
keeping the joint flexible.  Gel filled wrist rests on the mouse pad and
keyboard.   15 minutes a day of workout with 2 lb weights to tone the
muscles.  Wrist braces when I sleep. Tylenol for pain, because I can't take
any of the anti inflammatory meds, which work
better.________________________________
