OK, I see it. Never heard of this newspaper though. Did it come along
after I left DC? How is its reporting? I guess this is one of those
discrepancies that will just need to be followed to see if it is ever
resolved before everyone's eye's cross and glaze over.

Other news stories are saying the bin Ladens were on some of the first
flights out on the 13th. This would be special treatment, don't you
think? Considering the detentions of Arab doctors for being Arab, even
the 20th would amount to fairly favorable treatment. One suspects that
they were walked through the security vetting. I did see that the 9/11
Commission's report apparently said that some of these men were
interviewed and none were found to be of interest but.... I am not
sure this passes the giggle test. How much of an investigation could
this be? Was it 200 men, say 48 hours after 9/11, that's what, a
maximum of two and a half hours each of investigation assuming someone
was on it round the clock. They were still looking for survivors on
9/13....

On Will, I do frequently disagree with him, but less often than you
would think. He called for the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld
recently. But that is less important than that his opinions are
generally well thought-out and carefully expressed.

I doubt he does interviews ala Baba Wawa.... but it seems to me he has
been known to appear on Meet the Press or something similar. Could be
wrong, I don't follow the man's career especially, just respect his
writing, and I don't think he was one of the NPC guys my dad used to
bring home.

PPS
George Will would be perfect. I didn't think he did
interviews and I figured he was way to conservative
for this group anyway.
