There are indeed very good reason's for not trusting this administration. Which presents a huge problem that this situation illustrates: An administration cannot effectively govern if it cannot gaurantee the trust of the people.
If the gov must provide concrete proof every time it opens it's mouth....its essentially lame-duck.
Oh, and I happen to think that they are, at the moment, most definitely more interested in getting W elected than anything else. But if you think Kerry's camp is any less singularly focused, yer mistaken. Such is politics. (however, Bush's distraction has the potential to be MUCH more harmful than Kerry's, for the obvious reason that he's the sittin prez)
