Where is left wing, where is right wing, and where is center?
>From Sam's posts, I would have seen him as a right-winger. Now I see he defines himself as a left-winger. I always equated leftist thinking with liberalism, people who support the NAACP, etc., and rightist thinking with Republicans, people who support big business and big government, pro-lifers, etc.
I've always considered myself centrist, leaning slightly towards the right. (And my answer to the first question would have been no, but I always understood our going into Iraq as part of our greater "war on terror," not as specifically connected with 9/11. My views are very similar to Hatton's.)
So could someone please define the spectrum here? What is right, what is left and what is center?
