I'm torn.  Our cat is declawed because she's a mean bitch. after you lose a
pint or two blood to unprovoked attacks it's easier to have it done.  I'm
not sure what I'd do for a couch.

Our cat was less than a year old when we had it done. she was definitely not
happy for the first two days after but has been fine since if it's worth
anything.

Is it the type of cat that can be trained or will let you clip their claws
(ours isn't)?  They also make claw covers that are basically little rubber
sheaths that you glue to the claws. but again you need a cat that will let
you apply them (and apply them often since they only last for a week or so).

Subject: cat claws what to do??

ok... so we bought a leather sofa & chair a couple months back...
not a problem, cats didn't mess with it like they did or cloth sofa.

until yesterday... they clawed a cushion on the chair...
my wife is upset & wants them de-clawed...

i don't think its right to de-claw them
are there any other options.
is de-clawing humane?

help!!!
