Interesting. One analysis I was looking at earlier proposed that Bush won precisely because he did not compromise and he did not admit error. Hrm. Have to try to find that link.
But I agree, I think a third party would be a great idea. In a lot of ways, I think the Democrats lost this election, in (possibly large) part by taking their constituencies for granted. Perhaps a fresh start would provide a better alternative for everyone.
