I don't disagree with you about what Arafat is guilty of. I don't think any westerners do. I also agree that the future is more important than the past. To that end, I think the US and its allies should do everything it can to ensure that the new Palestinian leader: 1.) Can control all of the various factions that makes up the Palestinian terror network, 2.) Renounces terrorism as a tactic for political change, and 3.) Accepts a 2 state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. To that end, my broad point is that you needn't agree with the man who's led the Palestinians for the last 4 decades, but you must respect his position. If you show respect for his position you will be able to ensure the 3 criteria above are met in the next leader. I say let his crimes die with him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:135681 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
