with the exception of alcohol (which they tried to outlaw once...didn't work quite so well), none of the items you mention would cause me to be a potential danger to others. coffee may be bad for me, coca-cola will rot my teeth (and innards) and whatnot... but the chances of me downing a 12 pack of coca-cola and doing anything other than peeing for 4 straight hours is pretty slim.
