Yeah, but they have the Ivory Coast to deal with. It is my opinion at this point that the French and other countries refused to go to war because the fall of Saddam didn't serve their best interests.
In this case France stood to lose money because of the Oil for Food Program. I don't fault the French for that choice. Any sovereign country has the right to say something is or is not it their best interest and either do it or not. They do however have to suffer the consequences, and if we find out that some countries were allowing Saddam to get around the Oil for Food program, as we have recently found he was doing, then those countries need to be held responsible. -----Original Message----- From: dana tierney [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2004 1:07 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Pilot, 47, Recalled For Active Duty maybe, but they declined to participate in the invasion of Iraq :) Dana ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:136946 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
