Gen Schwarzkopf also doesn't think invaded Iraq was a good idea, should he also suffer the consequences for the Oil for Food program? There's no doubt that France had a stake in Iraq in some way, but whether they could've been convinced that their stake in an invasion would be higher that what they already had is unknown because they were never consulted about it.
