So you bought and installed the retail version and the downloadable version?
Doesn't this mean your retail version is now worthless?  I would buy the
steam downloadable edition in a heartbeat if I could transfer the retail
cd-key to someone else.

Well i bought both copies because i wanted HL1: SOURCE so i just had to
uninstall the CD game and then the other games played fine without the cd as
