Are there any leaves left on the tree or laying around? How big is it? (height, trunk diameter, canopy width) How tall is the bare trunk before branches start? Do the branches alternate sides of the tree, or are they opposite from each other? What color is the bark? How smooth is the bark? Can you see the roots? How old is the house/yard it is in? Is it right against the house, in an defined bed away from the house, or just randomly growing in the yard?
