What kind of chiminey and what kind of repair? If the chimney is
completly brick and the repair was to fix the brick structure; I have a
vauge memory of an alternate. If I recall correctly, there are methods
to put a liner inside the original chimney. Basicly simply puting a
new metal pipe chiminey inside the brick one. One would assume this is
much easier and cheaper then getting into the masonery to fix the brick
structure.
