Congrats! I hate you. ;^) (We've been apartment dwellers for 13 years in
the Boston area but have been unable to even consider affording a house.)

When we moved from Beacon Hill to West Somerville (only about 6 miles, but
too far for us to do alone) we used Gentle Giant and I've nothing but good
to say about them.

They moved us from a third floor apartment to another third floor apartment
in one trip, in less than 7 hours (with an hour lunch... mostly because my
lovely bride lost the keys to the new apartment and had to go get new ones).

They began by asking which furniture and boxes were especially valuable to
us and wrapped them in padded blankets then charged through the house like
engines. When moving into the new place they placed everything as we wanted
with no complaints.

We did all the actually packing tho' (I don't like the idea of other people
packing our stuff) - I'm not sure if that's what you're planning on doing.
Also this was over seven years ago so thing may have changed.

Good Luck!

Jim Davis
