I believe these disorders are real, I also believe they are way over diagnosed as a "simple" answer to complicated problems. But just because many children are incorrectly diagnosed, does not mean the others truly have the disorder.
I would like to learn more about this ODD problem. The one time reading sounds so much like my youngest son, age five. He can do so many things well, but if one of us is to ask him to do something, he freezes up and suddenly can't do what he was asked, even if he had done it on his own not 30 seconds earlier.
