Sort of - but the FDA doesn't take a stance on "natural" or "herbal" products. Personally I think they should: companies are making millions selling "diet supplements" that aren't tested, controlled or managed just because they're "natural" Yet even natural supplements can react badly when mixed or misused. And since there are no packaging or cleanliness guidelines in many cases you really have no idea what kind of contaminant's your also getting. In my opinion anything that claims a medical benefit should be tested and managed.
