Does anyone really think that the government has the ability to make the 
internet "safe and secure"?  All the best programmers in the world 
wouldn't be able to get through the red tape and legislation that this 
"problem" would create.

Besides that, I am VERY leery of what the government deems to be "safe 
and secure" content.  Visions of the Great Firewall China running 
through my head....
