Miserable is such an accurate term.

I wish I could smile... but if I did, I'd probably crack my teeth from
grinding so hard. :)

How is someone supposed to feel when they're told:
"I'd like to get that promotion, and you are going to help me get it."
"My job is in jeopardy, so that's why I'm riding you hard right now."
"You'll need to make sacrifices to get the job done.  That is, of
course, if you don't want to be bothered during vacation."

Whee!!!

WOW!!  Talk about a miserable person.  I can't stand those people.  The 
ones that live in a constant state of misery and the only joy they 
receive in life is to make those around them miserable.  The best advice

I ever received about dealing with assholes like that is to be nice and 
smile to them.  They can't stand it because you rob them of their 
"power."  If that doesn't work, try Ex-Lax cookies.  I did that to my 
Platoon Sergeant when I was in the Army...He was a real prick.  I'll get

the recipe from my wife.  I think she calls them Colon Blow cookies.
