Didn't someone, maybe Tim address this already? Most of the prisoners in Club Gitmo were captured on the battlefield shooting at our troops while posing as civilians. The only way to bring charges against them is to have our troops brought back to testify against them. If we let them go they'll just attack us again, so we keep them there until the war is over and then we release them. Meanwhile they get to live it up in the Caribbean. :)
