Simple-minded people deal with a complex world by explaining things
they don't understand with simple explanations. Thus is the original
nature of the "Bush-hater" mantra.

It's also easier for people that are loyal to a fault - instead of
confronting the fact that their hero is indeed wrong on an issue, they
dismiss the issue by claiming the messenger is a Bush hater rather
than listening to the message.
