So anyone who disagrees with you has not given any deep thought to the process you're discussing?

Whichever, I'm not generalizing anyone, just giving you my theory. I've been having these Bush vs Whoever arguments since 1999, and I first heard the you-must-hate-Bush argument from people who I would call simple-minded. That doesn't mean stupid, it means simple in thought; not venturing too far beyond their immediate day-to-day lives. Then I noticed another group of people using it - people with the Rush/Sean/Fox News talking points in their head and will regurgitate them if you poke them. However they've not done much, if any, critical thinking about the ramifications of the talking points which frequently pushes them into a corner in a debate. At this point these people turn to insults, veiled insults, and/or the you-must-hate-Bush trick. For example, anyone who truely thinks invading Iraq helps us fight terrorism over there so we don't have to fight it here. If it takes you more than 2 or 3 seconds to admit how foolish that concept is, you're in one of those groups. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Flash for programmers - Flash MX Pro http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=56 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:165496 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
