Yeah, my thinkpad's battery meter told me that it needed to be reconditioned to restore it's factory capacity. It had some easy to follow instructions and so I ran the computer down completely. I charged it overnight and checked the capacity. It went further down. Did it again. It went down faster. Did it a third time and the capacity went down into the 'red' zone. I started to notice a pattern and stopped 'conditioning' my battery.
