Instead of looking just at the Pres to blame for all of it, you should
research what the state government was communicating to the Federal Gov as
far what was under control and what wasn't. It was the State of Louisiana
that first dropped the ball, not the feds. Granted the President should and
could have acted sooner, but then with the Governor of the state wasn't
providing the whole truth about the conditions, causing decisions to be made
slower based on the input of others. Sound familiar...

Rant all you want about how you think you have the solutions, but your not
the President, so speculating what you would do doesn't mean much even if
you get your news from MSNBC.... I can agree with most of your assessment
below, but there still is a large part of the puzzle that people keep
missing, and that is the separation between the state and federal gov. $10
billion dollars doesn't pop out of thin air, and people need to vote on the
subject and the troops are there helping.

Despite what MSNBC covers, I see pictures all day long from other stations
covering heroic efforts to help people survive...if it bleeds, it leads...

Thus a magic wand in this case would be ideal....
