Read an interesting article in Wired today (I think it was Wired...) 
that says that Apple is claiming that the screen is made in the exact 
same manner that the iPod mini and regular iPod is. They say that the 
reason it is getting more scratches is that ppl are using it's size to 
it's disadvantage.  In other words, it can be put into pockets with keys 
and other places a mini wouldn't go, therefore it is getting scratched 
easier.  They claim that have lab tests to prove it.  What a bunch of 
horseshit, IMO.  Sounds like a whole lotta backpedaling to get out of a 
CA Lawsuit.

I bought the wifey a Mini right before the nano came out.  Was pissed at 
first, but now I'm happy. And I don't think they offer the nano in pink, 
either, which for some reason made a big difference to her.  Go figure. 
  :)  I'd still recommend the mini until they get this screen thing 
figgered out.
