I second this! (as a Canadian that's driven in lousy snowy and icy weather more than a time or two) 4WD does make it a lot easier to take corners and navigate around in the snow and ice.
There is a difference between an SUV with 4WD and a huge 3/4 tonne truck with 4WD and without a load in the back though... the truck will be a nightmare to drive while the SUV is a dream. >I can only speak for the XTerra, but with mine, in 4WD, i can drive >all over the place, ice/snow whatever, and it handles like a fucking >dream. i snowboard a lot in the winter, and it handles WAYYY better >than any car i have had, not to mention there are times where i TRY >to mess up and spin around, and take a corner hard, and it stays >on track with the Vehicle Dynamic Traction Control. > >bring it on :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:185761 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
