Darned glad my commute is less than 2 miles these days. But I've
always found how people panic here at the first hint of snow so
amusing. You've mentioned most of them.

In the last big blizzard that hit this area in 1996 I was working in
Crofton MD and commuting from Manassas, VA. I saw SUV idiots spin out,
turn over or simply plow into large snowdrifts because the idiots did
not know how to drive in snow. Meanwhile in my small Geo Metro I
cruised through the weather without any problems.
