It still works fine - if you're trying to compete against 3rd world countries then you've just neglected to change careers quick enough. Example: My wife used to be a DBA. Then, in '99, we felt like there was going to be a significant offshoring of that work so she switched careers. The transition took about 3 years. There's still plenty of on-shore DBA work, but she's diversified now so it doesn't matter. As time goes on there'll be a smaller and smaller amount of on-shore DBA jobs with a larger and larger pool of applicants. These will be all of the people who didn't want or didn't see that they needed to change careers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Flash MX Pro from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=57 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:189104 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
